Christian Union

Christian Union runs at Gordano School on Tuesday Lunch times. We spend time doing a bible study on a topic or theme for that term, play some games and pray together, it varies week to week but it often involves biscuits and chatting together.  CU is run by student leader Amy Reddrop, supported by staff Miss Pope, Miss Simpson, and by Sarah Bennett.

Each term we run outreach events to publicise CU, support good causes, or give opportunities for students to connect with the Christian faith, these include Cake sales, Quiz a Christian.

Quiz a Christian 2024, saw a panel of church leaders, student and staff answer questions posed by students about the Christian faith, over 40 students attended.

Secret Garden Club

This club is temporarily paused due to lack of volunteers/staff support - we hope to be able to resume soon.  Every Wednesday in term time we run Secret Garden Club - a chance to enjoy the extensive school garden, relax with friends, learn some new practical or nature-based skills.  Once a term we get term we roast marshmallows to make smores.  Due to popularity, this club is sign-up only - email Sarah to find out more.
