Parenting Groups

We love families!  We think they are one of God's really good ideas, and form the bedrock of our society.  They come in all shapes and sizes, and that is fabulous!

We run Kids Matter and Babies Matter programmes for families and new parents in Portishead.  They are designed for parents with children aged up to 18 months (Babies Matter), or 18 months to 10 years (Kids Matter), and give you a chance to share your experiences and learn from other parents.  And we have cake!

​Our next Babies Matter group is starting on Wed 13 Nov for 6 weeks, 1:15-2:45pm at Portishead Children's Centre.
​Our next Kids Matter group is starting on Mon 11 Nov for 6 weeks, 9-11am at Portishead Methodist Church.

Baby & Me

Carol & Katina are delighted to be back running Baby & Me in Portishead Children's Centre.  ​​Come & join us on Wednesday mornings (term time only).  Linda will be there to make you a lovely cuppa or cold drink (snacks too).  Carol & Katina will be on hand to greet you, listen to how your week has been & offer support if needed. You'll meet other parents, while your little ones can enjoy some social time too, or simply cuddle up with you, feed & enjoy a change of scenery.
