Know Your Bible

Picture
The aims of Know Your Bible are:
  • To deepen and enrich the spiritual lives of women.
  • To bring women to a personal knowledge of Jesus Christ as Saviour.
  • To enable women to face life’s challenges so they might be a positive influence in their homes, work and communities.
  • To enable them to play a more effective role in their churches and in all their service for the Lord.

Why study the Bible?
  • It’s God’s message to us.
  • It reveals God’s love.
  • It tells us how we can know Him and live for Him.

What are KYB Studies?
They are a practical method of discovery that combines personal study with group discussion. KYB provides the incentive for a consistent, regular and thorough approach to the transforming power of God’s word.

Where and When?
Most often in people’s homes or any suitable venue that provides an informal relaxed atmosphere. It’s up to the group to decide how often and when they meet but weekly or fortnightly works well.  Due to Covid 19 restrictions the Portishead group meet on zoom.
